The client will remain fully clothed during the treatment which takes place at floor level on a padded surface.

(remove some text) Oils are not used. The practitioner works through the clothing.

The first appointment is up to an hour and fifteen minutes long, subsequent appointments are one hour long.

The fee is £35 per session.

In case of cancellation 24 hours notice is required to avoid charge.
Please bring or wear loose comfortable clothing, (preferably natural fibres), such as sweatshirt, stretchy jogging bottoms and bring along clean socks.

Do not drink alcohol before the treatment. It is also best avoided afterwards.

Avoid a long hot bath, sauna, or strenuous exercise on the day of Treatment.

Avoid heavy meals in the two hours before treatment, and avoid arriving hungry.

Bring details of any medical diagnosis or medication you may be taking.

Please inform your practitioner in advance if you are pregnant or have recently undergone a major medical procedure e.g. surgery or radiotherapy.

Shiatsu is not an appropriate treatment if you have an infectious illness or a very high fever. If you have a cold you may find that treatment accelerates healing. Symptoms may be more intense, but for a shorter period of time.
